Friday March 1, 2019 – Due date for submitting Honorary Service Award Nominees (see attached flyer). This is an award for individuals in your community (PTA or not PTA) that have given their time and talents to help improve the lives of children and families over a period of multiple years.  The winners will be honored at our SJU Council Luncheon on March 29^th.

Friday March 8, 2019 – Sixth District Help day – have questions or need some help from experts…..several Sixth District officers will be on hand from 12 – 6 on Friday 3/8 at the Santa Clara County Office of Education to help out.

Monday March 11, 2019 – SJU Council Association Meeting – from 6:00 – 7:00pm come learn about changes to the new PTA Insurance along with info on Five Minute Audits.  Our meeting will be from 7:00 – 8:30pm and as always we will be serving a lite supper.

Friday March 15, 2019 – Spring Membership Incentive deadline at Sixth District ….. Your membership must be to Terri Jimenez by Wednesday 3/13 in order for us to get it to Sixth District by the deadline.   Remember – membership is all year long, so continue to encourage folks to join PTA as members.

Friday March 29, 2019 – SJU Council Luncheon – this is an opportunity to celebrate the year (yes it’s not over yet, but April and May are so busy at your school sites).  Each unit should have at least two or three officers (all can come) and you should invite your Outstanding Service Award Winner as they will be honored at the luncheon.  Many units also invite their Principal….our Luncheon is a valid PTA expense, but it must be in your Budget.  Invitations will be going out next week with details for time, menu and location.
