A new generation of kids growing up with mobile devices, internet exposure and social media, along with the traditional pressures to succeed, peer pressure and hormones. These issues know no economic or geographical boundaries. Whether caused by environmental factors, biological factors or both.
All kids have the potential to be impacted by the effects of anxiety and depression. We have children at our schools missing school every day due to these conditions. Come learn more.
When is it just teenage angst and when is it more? When does it require treatment? How can we help recognize and support?
Speaker is Dr. Glenn Teeter, Psychologist, Senior Program Therapist with El Camino Hospital ASPIRE Program
